Luis was incredibly helpful before, during and after my stay, including taking pictures for my blog when my camera was stolen. A good experience in a fascinating area of Portugal."

Y, desde luego, lo mejor de todo, la amabilidad de los dueños e haber convivido con huéspedes estupendos, de los que, ahora, somos amigos. Muito obrigado."

Daniel + Vincent (FRA - Mai'15): "Nous rentrons hier d'un séjour au Portugal qui s'est merveilleusement bien déroulé. La maison de LUIS et ANTONIO nous a plu à maints égards, sa propreté, sa décoration et sa pièce à vivre que nous avons partagée avec les autres clients. La piscine et le petit jardin sont des" plus" qu'il ne faut pas négliger surtout par de températures avoisinant les 32 degrés. Les odeurs de pins et des eucaliptus provenant des collines environnantes sont à ravir. Les super belles plages s'étalant sur des dizaines de KMS ne sont qu'à 10 Mns en voiture. Les commerces sont aussi tout proche ..... bref, une location à recommander pour une remise en forme assurée. OBRIGADO!"

Ido + Amit (ISR - Aug'14): "Mekos is the perfect place to catch some fun in the sun. The house is spectacular, the pool is inviting and refreshing, and the atmosphere is just right - masculine and sexy, yet completely free and warm. The hosts are incredibly sweet, and you have to go for their massage at least once, it's the best one you'll have in a while. We'll definitely come back when we're in Portugal."

 

Yves (NL - Aug'14): "I had a wonderful time at Mekos. Mekos has a very relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are nice and clean. There is enough privacy and nudism is the dresscode. Luis and Antonio are very good hosts and they have a high standard of services. It is easy to have a chat with them or the other guys in or around the swimming pool. The hosts were able to pick me up from and bring me to the airport for a reasonable fee. It takes usually about 45 minutes. I rented a good scooter via Mekos to go to the beaches: The famous Costa da Caparica number 19 (30 minutes) or the smaller Moinho do Baixo (15 minutes). You can do your shopping everywhere and their are lots of ATM's. I recommend this relaxing place and love to come back and drink some wine with Luis and Antonio near the pool."

 

Carlos (ESP - Aug'14): "I stayed as a guest of Antonio and Luis for a few days last summer. It was my first time staying in a nudist hotel, which I found totally liberating and relaxing. The facilities are just wonderful, starting with a beautiful pool, masses of space to relax and the wonderful views and silence of the countryside. Lovely to see the goats walk by every morning and to enjoy the first rays of sun reading on a deckchair. Luis and Antonio organized my pick up from the airport and my car rental, all of which was much appreciated. They were first class hosts. I also had a couple of wonderful massages during my stay. I made the most of my days by visiting local villages and beaches. I honestly hope to go back soon just to relax for a few days."

Tiago (FRA - May'14): "Une très belle expérience! Luis et Antonio sont des hôtes chaleureux et sympathiques; dès votre arrivée ils vous font visiter les lieux et vous mettent à l'aise. Les photos présentes sur leur annonce ne font d'ailleurs pas justice au bon goût de Mekos: tout est bien décoré et propre! La piscine est d'ailleurs un point fort, toujours propre et très jolie. Le tout dans un cadre très calme et reposant. Si ce n'était pas assez, Luis et Antonio sont aux petits soins pour leurs guests: quelques produits à dispositions dans la kitchenette gratuitement, une grande collection de dvd mise à disposition, serviette pour la piscine, possibilité de prendre ses repas dehors au soleil... Le site dispose même d'un SPA avec la possibilité de se faire masser. En conclusion, ce fût plus qu'un agréable séjour, je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui pourraient hésiter de réserver sans craintes.

A great experience! Luis and Antonio are very welcoming and nice hosts; as soon as you arrive, they give you a tour of the house and put you at ease. The actual photos don't even begin to show how cute Mekos really is: everything is tastefully decorated and spotless! The pool is one of the good points of the house, very clean and nice. Add to that a very calm and relaxing place and you'll get the Mekos of Luis and Antonio. As if it wasn't enough, Luis and Antonio are very caring people: some products are available in the kitchenette for free as a kind gesture, a big collection of dvd that they gladly share with you, a towel for the pool, and you can also take your meals outside while enjoying the sun... Mekos also has a SPA where you can get massages. In conclusion, it was more than an enjoyable staying, I can only recommend you to book at Luis and Antonio's."

 

Nino + Matej (SLO - May'14): "We spent a beautiful time in Mekos’ apartment. The room, pool and all house environments were clean, room’s bright colors makes you more relax and calm. Antonio and Luis are nice hosts and they care about your stay and welfare with professional and very good attitude. I also had a massage and it was very professional. Luis and Antonio we will be back for sure… :) It is a place to rest your soul and body..."

 

Liam + Daniel (CAN/SWD - Aug'13): "We had a wonderful time in the studio of Antonio/Luis' Mekos! The apartment was bright and clean, small but enough for 2 people. The salt-water pool was wonderful and the view behind it was breathtaking. It is important to have a car for transportation purposes. The hosts were very warm and helpful - even filling the fridge with breakfast basics for us! Recommended."

Eric + Denis (FR - Sep'12): "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette superbe villa aux lignes modernes, mais, surtout au calme, parfait pour déconnecter, se reposer. Étant à 15min de la mer et de charmants petits village, on peut également trouver de très belles plages, et pour le soir, de très bons restaurants. Si vous préferez rester au calme autour de la piscine et regarder le soleil se coucher dans la mer, l'appartement est entièrement équipe pour cuisiner, mais, il serait dommage de ne pas goûter aux spécialités. Bref rien de négatif, Luís et António sont accueillants et discrets et de bons conseils pour les bonnes plages et les restaurants. Nous espérons vivement y retourner."

Nigel (UK - Mar'12): "I wish to totally recommend Mekos. I have had an extremely enjoyable short stay there and can't wait to visit again. The architect designed house is absolutely stunning, as is the lovely self catering flat. Everything is brand new, spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. The pool is gorgeous too. The location is great for exploring this lovely area and trips to Lisbon are easily possible. Also the price incredibly reasonable for such outstanding quality. Best of all are hosts Luis and Antonio who are kind and attentive and keen to see that guests are a happy and have all they need for a great holiday. The guys are rightly proud of their lovely place and deserve every success in this new venture for them."
